ZW800-1, NHS Ester

 

ZW800-1 NHS is a zwitterionic, general-purpose NIR fluorophore with peak emission ≈ 800 nm for use with Channel #2 of the FLARE® imaging system. Equipped with a highly reactive N-hydroxysuccinimide (NHS) ester, ZW800-1-NHS can label virtually any small molecule, peptide, peptidomimetic, protein, antibody, or nanoparticle having a primary amine or other strong nucleophile, in a single-step reaction. Because of its “zwitterionic” chemical structure, it exhibits extremely low non-specific binding and uptake in vitro and in vivo, and can help solubilize poorly soluble targeting ligands.
